For this year’s Venice Biennale I had to keep to 5cm x 3cm x 3cm. To continue the theme of a feminist gaze I created a small sculpture that used an photograph of my husband’s bum placed within the iris of my hand drawn eye. The drawing laser cut into mirrored acrylic. The mirrored acrylic referenced Venice’s famous mirrors. It also is a nod the to the eye miniature paintings.
